Government Parliamentary Chief Whip Brian Mundubile says the Patriotic Front PF Government has so far walked the talk whereas improving and modernizing the education sector in accordance with the PF manifesto of 2016 to 2021.
Speaking during the Patriotic Front PF Interactive Forum held in Lusaka yesterday, Mundubile stated that Government is upgrading 510 poles; grass thatched,mud government and Community Schools into fully fledged primary schools.
He further said that PF Government will also improve 59.3 percent transition rate and absorb the 200,000 out of school children aged between 7 and 13 years old.
“The ministry of education has deployed more teachers, Constructed more teachers houses while working with the teaching council of Zambia to register teachers and accredit colleges of education country wide,” mundubile said
Mporokoso Parliamentary Constituency Member of Parliament also stated that Government has continued with the expansion of the sub sector to absorb the 120,000 grade 9 graduates failing to enter grade 10.
He further added that Government is committed in improving the 31.7 percent completion rate at grade 12 while strengthening the Vocational career pathways.
