25 member Indian business delegation eyes Zambia

A 25 member Indian business delegation will on Monday, September 23, 2019, start arriving in Lusaka, Zambia, following President Edgar Lungu’s State Visit to India from August 20, 2019 to August 22nd 2019.

The Republican President emphasised during the State Visit to India that Zambia is the best destination for investment because of peace, democracy and harmonious relationship with the eight neighbouring countries and beyond.

Zambia High Commission Staff will lead the five companies that are interested in mining, textile, agriculture and health.

Last week, a delegation led by Dr. Ajay Bhattacharya from Surat City in the Indian State of Gujarat, visited the Copperbelt and Lusaka Provinces where they held talks with stakeholders and paid a courtesy call on President Edgar Lungu, with a view of building a multi specialty hospital.
