Copper Queens demolish Mauritius 15-0

Zambia National Women’s Soccer Team has beaten Mauritius fifteen goals to nil in their opening Group B encounter played at the Wolfson Stadium in Port Elizabeth this afternoon.

Mauritius who have not participated in the last edition, conceded seven goals in the first half which was largely dominated by Zambia.

Green Buffaloes striker Rachel Nachula scored eight goals and assisted five more goals to be voted woman of the match.

In a post-match interview Zambian Coach Beauty Mwamba said it was the kind of performance that was expected and that her team will prepare adequately for their next match against Namibia.
