The Zambia National Soccer Team arrives in Francistown, Botswana on Tuesday, 23rd July 2019.
The Chipolopolo Boys will lock horns with the Zebras in what promises to be a thrilling CHAN 2020 qualifying first leg encounter at the Francistown Sports Complex in Francistown on Friday.
The winner over the two leg encounters will go on to play either Angola or eSwatini in the final qualifying round for the Cameroon 2020 CHAN.
Zambia’s Deputy High Commissioner to Botswana Mr. Goodwell Lungu has urged Zambian soccer fans to turn up in large numbers to offer support to the visiting Chipolopolo Boys.
Meanwhile, Mr. Lungu has further announced that the Mission will mobilise and extend up to 40 tickets to Zambians domiciled in the Francistown area to enable them watch the match. The gesture will be on a first come basis.
Zambians in the Francistown area are encouraged to contact their local association representative Mr. Josephat Lombe (71584310) and Mr. Aaron Tembo (71661722) or alternatively the Mission for access to the tickets for the match.
The occasion will also be an opportunity for the Zambian Mission to interact on issues of mutual interest with the Zambian Community in Francistown.
